Crockett’s campaign reports spending more than $100,000 on luxury hotels, transportation and security

Federal Election Commission files for Crockett, which he forwarded to the president Donald Trump As a “savvy guy” who only cares about pleasing the rich, she appears to have spent just over $124,000 of her House and Senate campaign funds on luxury accommodations, high-end transportation and private security in 2025.

Crockett spent $32,685.58 on luxury hotels alone. In the fourth quarter of 2025, when Crockett launched her Senate campaign, which she cast as a fight for the people against a “system of greed,” she spent $11,841.27 on luxury hotels across the country. Crockett’s hotel campaigns paid for in the fourth quarter of 2025 included The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, Hotel ZaZa, Kimpton and the five-star Los Angeles West Hollywood hotel.

Meanwhile, she spent a total of $11,738.60 on limousine and luxury car services in 2025. Her Senate and House filings show she spent $5,446.30 on Bay Area Lux Limos, California-based Detailed Drivers, a “white glove” transportation service, in the last three months of the year.

By far the largest expenditure of all was private security, despite Crockett repeatedly calling for defunding the police. Crockett paid approximately $80,000 for security in 2025. A large portion, $30,079.34, of those security costs came in the fourth quarter of 2025.

In 2021, while Crockett was serving in the Texas House of Representatives, she said: “The Defund movement seeks to actually heal and finally invest in our communities to make them safer, addressing the root causes of crime and by allowing professionals to do their jobs. Defund is about finally being smart about crime. Defund is about taking the burden off of our offices for all the things they don’t sign up for. Defund is about finally taking fiscal responsibility when it comes to policing in this state.”

Since entering Congress in 2023, Crockett has emerged as one of the most prominent figures Democratic votesEspecially when it comes to criticizing the Trump administration and other Republicans.

She came under fire in early 2025 for several inflammatory comments, including calling out the then head of the government’s efficiency department. During her Senate campaign, she presented herself as the only candidate who “competed with Trump.”

During a recent debate with Democratic state Rep. James Tallarico, Crockett called for impeachment, saying: “I think there is More than enough accountability“.

She also recently likened Trump’s immigration enforcement crackdown to Nazi Germany and accused the Supreme Court of imposing sanctions on “modern-day slave patrols.”

Crockett joined more than 70 House Democrats in sponsoring articles of impeachment against the Secretary of Homeland Security. Kristi Noem Charged with “systematic abuse of power, violations of civil and constitutional rights, and willful obstruction of congressional oversight.”

“Secretary Noem violated her oath of office and used ICE as a weapon against American communities,” Crockett said. “What we are witnessing is not public safety — it is state-sanctioned violence. It is unconstitutional, it is dangerous, and it requires accountability.”

The US Senate primary election in Texas will be held on March 3. Whichever candidate emerges victorious will face either incumbent Senator John Cornyn, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, or Representative Wesley Hunt in the general election in November.
