Keith Olbermann sparks outrage by attacking Lou Holtz on social media

Former ESPN broadcaster Keith Olbermann once again sparked social media backlash on Wednesday after he called out the late legendary football coach Lou Holtz “Legendary Bastard” in X’s post on the day Holtz’s death was announced.
“Yes, you legendary scumbag,” Olbermann wrote in response to a clip of Holtz criticizing the former president. Joe Biden In 2020 to support abortion rights.

One user echoed that sentiment, writing to Olbermann, “You’re the real scumbag here. Lou Holtz had more class, integrity, and real decency on his pinky finger than you’ll ever show in your life.”
“You’re an angry, lonely, atheist man. All the things Lou Holtz isn’t,” another user wrote.

Olbermann has made it a pattern of sharing politically charged, often combative and ridiculed far-left statements on social media, typically resulting in massive backlash.
After the USA Men’s Hockey Team won the gold medal, Olbermann harshly criticized the team for accepting an invitation from President Trump to attend the State of the Union address. All members of the men’s team who attended the event “declared their stupidity and indelible misogyny,” Olbermann wrote on X, while praising the women’s team for declining the invitation.

“It’s still about trying to find an excuse for your wasted life trying to succeed in sports without talent,” Olbermann wrote in response to Wheeler’s post.
