A father and three children were killed in a Russian drone air strike in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine

The attack on the town of Pohodokhiev claimed the lives of 34-year-old Grigory and his three children – two-year-old twin boys, Ivan and Vladislav, and their one-year-old sister, Miroslava, Oleg Sinigubov, governor of the Kharkiv region, said on Telegram.

The family had just been evacuated from Zolochiv, a front-line town about 25 miles from the Russian border, in an attempt to escape constant bombardment.

Sinigubov said they were spending their first night in their new home when the raid occurred.

Olga, the 35-year-old mother of 35 weeks pregnant, survived minor injuries and burns and was later discharged from hospital after receiving medical care.
