Steve Tisch addresses the Epstein document controversy amid Giants ownership

New York Giants co-owner Steve table He addressed the controversy surrounding his presence in the recently released files related to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.
Tisch issued a statement via GiantsClaiming he never traveled to Epstein’s notorious island.
“We had a brief relationship where we exchanged emails about adult women and, in addition, discussed movies, philanthropy and investments. I never took him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret being associated with,” Tish said.

On Friday, the Justice Department released more than 3 million documents related to the case Investigation of Epstein It involved an email exchange from April 2013 to June 2013 between Tish and a convicted sex offender.
Some exchanges between Tisch and Epstein appear to show conversations about women.
The Tisch family owns about 45% of the Giants’ stock. Along with fellow co-owner John Mara, Teich took control of the team in 2005 after his father purchased a majority stake in the team in 1991.
Under the combined ownership of Mara and Teich, the Giants have won two Super Bowls and recently hired John Harbaugh as head coach.

Epstein was found dead in a federal prison cell in Manhattan on August 10, 2019. His death was later ruled a suicide.
He faces up to 45 years in prison for crimes related to sex trafficking of minors.
