Vance says Americans ‘can’t return power’ to Democrats after SOTU antics

Vance, who was speaking during a visit to a manufacturing facility in Plover, Wisconsin, made the remark before attacking Democrats for not standing up on Tuesday. In support of Delilah Coleman, A little girl survived after the car she was traveling in was hit by an illegal immigrant from India on a highway in San Bernardino County, California, in June 2024.

“I want to talk about the risks ahead in November, because that November election seems so far away. But if anything, the State of the Union address should have made clear to us that we cannot return power to Democrats in Congress,” Vance said.

“Now, I’m fundamentally optimistic about this country. I think that most people, most human beings, most American citizens, whether they get a D next to their name or an R next to their name or have no political affiliation, they are good people. They love our country. They want our country to prosper and prosper. But I have to tell you, after the State of the Union Address, I’m not sure that’s true of the Democrats in Congress that we saw in the State of the Union Address,” Vance continued.

“For example, you have this beautiful little girl. She had a beautiful moment with her father. As you may remember, she was maybe 6 years old. She was assaulted by an illegal immigrant. Her medical prognosis was very poor, I think. But it turned out she was fine. This 6-year-old girl, she was hurt by a human being who should not have been in this country in the first place, and who Joe Biden, the Democrats, led into this country,” Vance said.

“And she’s hugging her dad, and she’s so excited. And you can see it, and I think everyone’s hearts are feeling so, you know, you get this warm and fuzzy feeling. And then she looked at Democrats in Congress, and They’re just frowning. They can’t clap their hands for a 6-year-old who survived an attack by an illegal alien. “What is this?” the Vice President added, “What kind of person can’t stand up and cheer for an innocent little girl who is doing well, showing the entire country strength and resilience?”

The person driving the 18-wheeler that allegedly struck Coleman has been identified as Partap Singh, who has been charged with three counts of vehicular homicide and immigration charges.

“I think when that little girl was standing up hugging and kissing her father, those Democrats, at least, part of them, the human part and their souls, wanted to stand up and cheer for that little girl. And they all sat on their hands. And you have to ask yourself, why is that happening?” Vance also said.

The answer is because they know they are not answering to you, they are answering someone else. “They are responding to the people who have ruined this country,” he concluded. “They’re responding to people who are opening the border. They’re responding to people who are getting rich off of illegal immigrant labor. We want you guys to get rich off of the work of American citizens. We want American workers to get rich off of their hard work, not illegal aliens. And that, to me, is the fundamental difference between the leadership of Congress and the Democrats in Congress and the Republicans in Congress under the leadership of this president.”
