Sometimes, the most important thing in life is getting to know people. Over the past few weeks, ever since Immigration and customs agents He started Helps shorten lines And at our nation’s airports, much of the country has come to know them, much to the dismay of the lying Democrats.
Take, for example, broadcaster Charlamagne Tha God, who has been a vocal critic of ICE’s tactics under the Trump administration. Here’s what he said about his encounters with clients at the New York airport:
“They were great, to be honest with you. To be honest, I just, they were, and for that particular leg, I was flying out of LaGuardia, I I forget what station it was, but yeah, they were as nice as Chick-fil-A workers.”

This has been the experience of most millions of air travelers recently, and it has begun to thaw some of the harsh rhetoric that described ICE agents as fascists and even Nazis.

However, despite ICE’s image burnishing, Democrats are still holding the country hostage with their futile shutdown of ICE. Department of Homeland Security fundingunder which thousands of ICE employees remain behind the scenes without pay.
The reason Democrats cling to this fictional story about out-of-control ICE agents stalking our nation is because they believe they have finally found an effective way to discredit law enforcement, after a few failed attempts.
We all remember the attempts Painting the police as evil During the George Floyd riots. But the problem for Democrats is that too many people know the cops. It was too visible a part of our lives to lie about so blatantly.

Then, during the Biden administration, Border Patrol agents were portrayed as evil, right down to falsely accusing border agents on horses of flogging migrants in Texas, when even the person who took the video immediately said there was no flogging, just the reins.
It would be funny if ManagementThen-DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas did not stick to his lie for nearly a year, before sheepishly admitting his mistake.

ICE agents were an exciting new opportunity for the left to attack law enforcement at the beginning of the second Trump administration, because unlike the cops, no one really knew ICE agents, and unlike the Border Patrol, they were working not just at the border, but in our communities.
Democrats pounced Despite the fact that ICE agents wear masks to protect themselves and their families from the collection of personal information. They pretended that simplistic training programs meant that racist yahoos were handed guns and badges and told to round up black people.
Then, finally, when a coordinated left-wing harassment campaign was launched against ICE in Minneapolis, it predictably led to the tragic deaths of Renee Judd and Alex Peretti. With that, Democrats had every excuse they needed to shut down the Department of Homeland Security and throw sand on the path to governance.
But today, after the Boy Scouts’ routine of speeding up air travel, Trump has replaced the hyper-aggression Kristi Noem With more measurement Markwayne Mullen As Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, a move demanded by Democrats, Lockdown seems ridiculous.
But that didn’t stop Michigan Senate candidate Abdel Sayed from appearing on stage with anti-Semite Hassan Baker on Tuesday and saying, “ICE can’t be reformed, ICE can’t be restricted, and ICE must be abolished.”
Sayyed, who said many of his constituents are mourning the death of Ayatollah Khamenei, doesn’t want that Immigration enforcementEven in the face of recent Islamic terrorist attacks, including the attack on a synagogue in Michigan.

There is a lot the administration can learn from the charm attack on the airport, and perhaps there is a chance for some change.

In fairness to Noem, she was tasked with creating a slightly creepy image of ICE. In her infamous TV ads, she warned that anyone who was here illegally, and not just the worst of the worst, They will find themselves expelled.
There is a strong argument that this aggressive stance helped lead to the 2 million self-deportations we have seen so far under Trump 2.0.

But the number of people wanting to self-deport is likely to be limited, which means it may be time for ICE to take a more targeted approach. This makes it less vulnerable to Democrats’ lies.
At our airports, ICE agents have melted the hearts of the traveling public. Now they must do the same with the rest of the nation.
