Formula 1 races in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have been canceled and rumors have spread about whether the future WWE Events can be held in the Kingdom.

While the Trump administration brokered a ceasefire with Iran, WWE announced on Thursday that its signature live show, “Night of Champions,” will take place in Riyadh on June 27.
Turki Al Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, said in a press release: “We are proud to welcome the return of Night of Champions to Riyadh, and we look forward to presenting another unforgettable night of WWE shows to fans in the Kingdom and around the world.”

The release indicated this Wrestlemania The 43rd edition will still be held in Riyadh in 2027. This will be the first time WrestleMania will be held outside the United States.
WWE Chairman Nick Khan has previously been adamant Wrestlemania 42 The event will still be held in Saudi Arabia despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

He added that those complaining about holding WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia are a “vocal minority.”
